IQ Test

203 on the above test. I found it real easy, but I have been informed that only 1% of the people who take IQ tests score above 150, so the test is probably messed up. Furthermore, I do not even BELIEVE in the validity of the IQ test, because it is region & country specific. For example, if one question asks to say which of the following does not belong: “Jaguar, Cougar, Bobcat, Moose”, someone who has never been outside New York city for example, might chose “Jaguar” because he/she is thinking of Jaguar as a kind of car, and not as an animal. In my opinion, the EQ is more accurate, but no test can truly give a 100% accurate representation of someone’s IQ.

  1. Most IQ tests are pretty awful, because there are many different interpretations to any given question… Many of the ‘which does not belong’ questions could be answered based on number of letters, etc. or otherwise. That test was particularly bad though. The mensa ones are much clearer. I also prefer iqtest.com, simply because they rated me almost 40 points higher. Now then… there must be SOMETHING wrong with these tests.

Am I the only person who thought 24 was unanswerable? If Joe lost his part time job then he might still have a full time job. Since the question does not specify that he lost all his income the question cannot be answered. Maybe I am just looking too hard. I did get it right since I figured what they wanted was 25%.

I took the emode one a while ago (when we first started playing with emode) and I think I got like a 123. I had an actual IQ test administered to me in the 7th grade, and it was considerably higher. So either I’ve gotten stupider (it IS a possiblity) or I wouldn’t trust that test.

I’ll try the other one when I know I won’t be interupted.
