Iron Eyes Cody, the famous crying indian from the anti-littering commercials in the 70’s. You might remember on the Sopranos how they made a claim that he wasn’t really a Native American.
I though that was a joke, but I see Dead Or Alive also claims this. What’s the Straight Dope?
Snopes has the answer. No, he wasn’t a Native American Indian.
