Iron Man 2 fight scene clip

Not that I know of (although that would explain a lot). No, I was referring to unobtainium in the more general, pre-Avater sense of a “magical” material of the type employed by comic-book writers to explain away sloppy physics.

In other words: it’s a superhero movie. Don’t think about it too much.

In the Marvelverse, adamantium and vibranium are the most common isotopes of unobtanium.

Well there you go.

ISTR, in some official Marvel character guide (this was probably back in the 1980s) that the suitcase itself had repulsors to make it portable (due to the weight of the armor).

It’s like in Voltron. How come the Ro-Beasts were just stadning around for the 5 or so minutes that it took for the team to for Voltron? And howscome they always used a bunch of different weapons that never worked until they used the blazing sword at the end? Why not just use the blazing sword? Is it something like in the military where if you don’t use all your ammo, you don’t get as much alloted to you the next fiscal year?

Huh…neat. Though in the movie, I doubt that’s possible, since all the power for his suits comes from the arc reactor in his chest.

Yeah, I know. I was just being a bit of a smart ass.

For people who are going to watch it, there’s another clip after the credits.

Vague spoiler:

It somewhat announces a new marvel movie.

Specific spoiler:

It Shows Thor’s Hammer (Mjöllnir) being found in the Mexican desert. Why it’d be there is beyond me.

Re: The specific spoiler

Total fanwank: He was fighting Loki as Coyote

Where is this “additional clip”? I am not seeing it…

That sentence is screaming out for a semicolon instead of a comma. As it stands, Iron Man is apparently a mass murdering fuckhead.

Well, in “The Crossing” arc he was! :stuck_out_tongue:

So anyway, I just saw the film. Great movie.

Should I open a new thread?

Good idea.
