Hello everyone and thanks so much for all the warm congratulations. I was just released last night, and it’s very good to be back home. I was missing my bed, my dog, and–of course–the boards, not necessarily in that order.
As requested, I have pictures! Check out my little devil here and here. I think he’s absolutely beautiful, but I’m pretty biased, so please feel free to tell me that I’m not mistaken.
Like Abbey said, he was 8 lb 6 oz, 21" long which is a full pound and nearly an inch bigger than his brother was. In the grand tradition of my life, nothing went quite as planned and I ended up having to have an emergency C-section. That was very scary, and the recovery has been pretty brutal, but the end result was a healthy, handsome baby boy so I’m not complaining. Much.
Big brother has been completely entranced with him, and keeps wanting to kiss his cheeks and give him his pacifier, even when he’s nursing! It’s cute enough to make you wanna retch, seriously.
I’ve gotta run now, milk duty calls (just call me Bessie). I’ll post back later when I get a minute.
