Is a six-pack attractive on a chick?!

The fat on top of the core muscles certainly doesn’t affect their strength. If anything, fat tends to support strength (fat power lifters, etc.).

Cool. Let’s have a six pack together and make up.

I hear ya.

A 6 pack of beer is attractive, If she has a pizza as well it could be love.

True, but it’s usually a pretty good indicator that if there’s fat on on top there is probably little muscle strength underneath. At least with fat removed, you know what your getting.

“Sweetheart, could you please remove your fat. Caveat emptor, you know.” :o

Ridiculous. Completely and utterly ridiculous. That’s just your warped opinion, dude. It’s not based on any kind of fact whatsoever.

Okay then, since this is such a sensitive issue for you, let me just say that speaking anecdotally, women with a healthy core (lean core, with healthy muscle mass) have been much better in the bedroom than the women with a more fatter core.

It’s not a sensitive issue for me at all. What you said was just stupid. What you are trying to say NOW in this post is something different. I don’t think I’ve thought about the core strength of a single one of my sexual partners, good or bad. :stuck_out_tongue:

To be fair, I said it was an indicator. I never claimed anything as fact.

In my mind, whether it be scientific or not, sex is a physical activity, the more physically fit you are, the better at sex you’re probably going to be.

So by that logic, I’ll take the girl with muscle tone and definition over the flabby one. Even though that flabby one may have “awesome” core strength hidden underneath that flabby exterior.

Got it in one. Well, twenty-one, but who’s counting?

It’s not that I think that a six-pack is inherently unattractive on a woman, but I have what Robert Heinlein described as an “infantile bias,” and any woman lean enough to have “girl abs” is unlikely to be able to satisfy said bias. At least, not without the help of augmentation surgery.

… Which, FWIW, would not be a deal-breaker…

Guy here.

They’re not necessary, but hell yes I think they’re sexy. Athletic women with muscles in general are hot to me, though not when it gets to body-builder level.

So no one’s going to bring up that thing that’s sorta in the middle? Where you can tell there’s muscle there, but it’s not divided into a six pack? I’ve heard it either called a 1-pack or 2-pack or something like that.

I find fit, slim hipped, subtly-defined musculature on women unbelievably appealing. Sometimes a six-pack inevitably comes with that, and works. But it can be a fine line between fit and body-builder-grotesque.
