But if it’s been going on for a week, and you’ve been as frustrated as us, with all due respect, and not to push you over the limit or anything, why wouldn’t you post a “We know there’s trouble, we’re working on it, patience please!” sticky or note? Too busy? Why not ask a Mod to do it for you?
Because we’re not children, we do understand that shit happens. Then there’d have been no whinging thread to which you were grudgingly dragged, to voice frustration at your patrons.
We’ve put up with this frustration all week, as well, difference was, of course, we had no idea if anybody on your side was aware, or was working on it.
Again, sorry to cause you more irritation, but a little communication from your side, (not even you directly, mind), would have prevented this entire thread.

As I said, I was assured on two different occasions that the problem was fixed. The manifestations were pretty random - still are. I encountered a database error yesterday morning and notified Jerry immediately. He reported back a little later that fix #2 had just been made - a fix that, as it turned out, not only didn’t solve the problem, it broke something else. I’m not a tech and don’t have access to diagnostic tools; I hear about problems when people report them. I responded to this thread as soon as it was brought to my attention by the mods (I was in the middle of something else). Please understand that at any given time I’m trying to keep multiple plates spinning; I respond as soon as I can.
I appreciate that you made the attempt, in that thread, but I wasn’t having that problem, nor were others from the sounds of things, and so did not venture into that thread or see your post.

Please consider a sticky next time, then we won’t be fraying your nerves on top of your other more pressing problems.
We were just reporting them. Getting testy at those who do so, seems counter productive to me.
Sorry for the jabs I took at the business model, and not to anger you further, but if the posters on the board are a tad jaded, when it comes to such things, it’s from many years experience with similar problems. That’d be your bad.
At the moment, pretty much no page will completely load even thought they all look completely loaded. When I look at the bottom of the page it says “waiting for pixel.quantserve.com” and I don’t know what that is. I shouldn’t have any ads on mine so I know it’s not that.
