Even if she is not simply sentenced to time served, and even if the judge gives her the max on each, and even if he sentences her to serve them consecutively, and even if she gets no good-time credit, she’ll be out in about a year.
You don’t understand the U.S. media works do you? They created this themselves for a reason and they will not ever let it drop completely. Out of the thousands of tragic cases that happen every year, they picked this one to be the star of this perverse pageant and parade. Do you really think they will let it go now that it got whipped into such a media frenzy? She is famous or infamous for life now and there is no escaping it. Natalie Holloway was a former star on this reality TV news series and she has been dead for a long time yet we still get regular status updates on her presumed killer and he isn’t even in the U.S. or from the U.S. OJ Simpson never got away from it either. Hell, I still hear plenty of Lizzie Borden references and that case is 119 years old now and one of the originals of the series.
It’s pretty rare to serve prison time for misdemeanors, which is what she was convicted of. Given time already served, plus it sounds like she won’t really have much time left to serve on the previous theft/fraud convictions, on the balance she will probably be home by the weekend.
Oh yes there will be the movie deals, the book deals, the talk show circuit, the reality show offers and porn and Playboy offers. Every night club will be dying to have her show up for a price. She’ll come out of this a millionaire and laugh over her daughter’s grave.
I have a feeling this is going to play out like a Twlight Zone episode however. She got off legally but that maybe that is the real trapdoor to hell. No legitimate business will hire her because of her infamy so she won’t be able to make a living legitimately. Hate calls and death threats will come to her and family for years. She won’t be able to afford real security and there are bunch of deranged people that have a special place in their heart for crimes against children. Maybe she didn’t get off easy after all.
Natalie Holloway’s putative killer went and killed another woman though, while OJ’s celebrity pre-dated his trial (and he too failed to stay on the right side of the law after dodging his murder conviction), so I don’t think either example is really informative of what will happen to Anthony. At least assuming she manages to avoid being arrested for anything in the future.
I don’t think I’ve seen the Ramsey’s mentioned in the news lately, or Gary Conditt, or Jennifer Willbanks or Patty Hearst or various former targets of media fixation. I saw an article that tried to catch up with various ex-members of teh Manson cult, and while the ones still in prison were easy to find, the two that have since been paroled couldn’t be tracked down by the reporter.
So we’ll see, but I imagine if she keeps her head down for a few years she can go on with her life more or less anonymously, at least if she can avoid doing anything that draws further attention.
She’s had a taste of media fame she won’t be able to resist a camera. She’ll become a full fledged attention whore.

The forensic evidence, hopefully impartial, could not even find a cause of death. It could not prove her guilty. Fantasize on her execution as you might, but that’s how American Justice works, and be glad of it.
Irrelevant, because neither a cause of death nor motive was required for a guilty verdict on the most serious counts.
No, but its hard to convict someone of murder if you can’t even establish that the murder happened. Having a cause of death would’ve gone a long way towards resolving that problem.

I fully expect her to announce that - like OJ - she will continue to search for the person(s) that murdered her daughter and co-produce a Lifetime movie about the events. 
I think the best we can hope for is an advocacy campaign for pool safety.
She is infamous, pretty hot and probably broke as hell right now. That means she is target #1 for every pornographer with an easy few tens of thousands of dollars to throw at her to show off her goodies and give thier movie that little bit of noteriety and creepy voyuerism to sell a few hundred extra copies/downloads.
While I totally understand why she wasn’t convicted, the prosecution over reached with little hard evidence, there was doubt, after all.
I don’t think they felt she was wholely innocent, just that the evidence was not conclusive enough to convict.
I think, her Dad being a cop, she knew how to insure the forensic evidence was going to be useless to convict her. I think her parents didn’t want to see her convicted so did their best to muddy the waters. Again, Dad’s cop experience would have been very helpful here.
Whereas OJ had plenty 'o cop friends, including one about ready to get tossed off the force, willing to sacrifice his almost dead police career to muddy the waters with bunches of bad police work which opened the possibility of a not guilty verdict.
These are just my wildass guesses of course, but it looks like it doesn’t hurt to have connections to the police and knowledge of court and police forensic procedures, and how to manipulate them.
elbows, I don’t know…seems to me that if the Dad really was trying to ‘muddy the waters’, he a) wouldn’t go out of his way to make an accident look like a murder, b) wouldn’t throw the body away in a swamp just a few blocks from his house, and c) wouldn’t helpfully ensure lots of baby items from the house are found with the body, which d) has duct tape on it.
Nothing the dad did helped ensure the forensic evidence was useless: What did help was Casey LYING for weeks after her daughter died, not telling anyone she was already dead, then LYING for months about a non-existent baby-sitter kidnapping.

I’m just sick of pretty, white girls on the news all the time. No one gives a shit about you unless you are a pretty, white girl. Round these parts there are billboards up for the 10th anniversary of the disappearance of a high school classmate of mine. Disappeared when she was 21, would be 31 now – a full grown adult who is either dead or doesn’t want to come back. But they will “Never stop looking!” because she is a (you guessed it) pretty, white girl.
