I got sucked in this season. Love Joel Kinnaman and Peter Saarsgard. Wish it wasn’t so dark (literally!). I’m expecting to be disappointed with the reveal of the killer next week (two hour finale is next Sunday).
So whodunnit? Put your answer and any spoilerish comments in spoiler boxes, I guess.
Not sure whodunnit, but I’m expecting Twitch’s PO to be involved. I can’t believe they really hung Seward this week! Must be a fake out somehow.
After watching the rerun
I’m pretty sure Seward/Sarsgaard is really dead.
A very sad, intense episode. Great performances.
Haven’t seen yesterday’s episode yet, but I’ve been assuming it was Twitch for a couple weeks now. Not sure if that person’s whereabouts match up with the murders, though.
Sarsgaard should get an Emmy for his performance this season, and the second season is such an improvement over the first one, it ought to be nominated as well.
I do love the show but I wasn’t really buying Linden’s hair trigger response to what was essentially one sentence from the kid. Yes, it does make sense in context until you think about it. She just flies off the handle w/o any further questioning AT ALL. And yes I see the need for that in the context of the story, but I’m a pretty uncritical viewer and that jumped out at even moi.
The other thing is
here you have an unidentified ring that matches one from the Seward case. OK, the match is arguable at best, but you have someone’s life on the line. Are you seriously saying that you’re not going to grant a stay for that so you can double check at least. I can give them a pass on that though given the fact that some states fry the mentally retarded. I mean hey, the AG at least thought about it, right?
And wtf was the deal with not letting Seward see his kid? I mean if you’re going to that much of a douche bag then don’t be such a fucking pussy when you get the weight wrong and the guy ends up gurgling for a little while at the end of the rope. Sack up asshole.
What kills me is that they still haven’t gotten around to asking the kid (Adrian) about the drawings. WTF? And they’ve had those drawings all along. Great actors, but worst detectives ever.
Twitch is definitely acting suspiciously, but why would the survivor have been afraid to identify him? That fear only makes sense if it’s a cop, like Reddick, Skinner, the prison guards, or some other official, like Twitch’s PO.
I’m bumping this because tonight is the two hour season finale. Last chance to call it. Here are the prime suspects:
Reddick
Skinner
Becker
Henderson
Twitch’s PO
Twitch
??? Did I leave anyone out?
Reddick? A lot of clues lead to Reddick. Took Bullet’s calls, bandage on hand, found the cigar box with the rings, Angie (the survivor) ran way from him at the hospital. Too obvious?
Skinner? Suspicious because of his role in convicting Seward.
Becker? Henderson? Authority figures with issues, but what ties either of them to the homeless kids?
Twitch’s PO? A lot of clues, even though he hasn’t been prominently featured in the episodes. What he did to Twitch. His tie in to the homeless kids. Authority figure. Could have coerced Twitch or Lyric to help him. If I had to bet, he would be my pick.
Twitch? A possibility, but not my pick. Why would Angie hesitate to ID him?
Did I leave anyone out who hasn’t been alibied already?
