I’m pretty sure he changed his mind about that after being completely and thoroughly owned on his own message board. In fact I’m 100% sure, unless he’s changed it back again. But he’s said before that while he kind of dabbles in fringe and conspiracy stuff, he doesn’t take any of it very seriously.

I get the impression that he doesn’t take much of anything very seriously. That’s part of why I like him. If you see his bit about Fear Factor it’s pretty damn funny.

I have to say that not liking a comedian because he is a moon landing denier is pretty silly. Personally I can’t stand clowns who who are opposed to string theory myself.
For me, the question would be, Does he do any jokes that you couldn’t just watch on his program? If not, why pay when you hear the same jokes for free?
Why would you pay that much for ANY comedy show really?
Like I said, Russel Brand opening for Eddie Izzard, that’s the only show I’d consider that price for.
