I have to challenge the idea that he’s looked at publicly as anything other than bizarre. Unless I’m badly mistaken there isn’t a lot of “colorful figures” in NK.

I don’t think Rodman would pass any psych test that the CIA would put its people through. I can’t imagine how his visits to Un would result in him getting anything worthy in the way of intelligence.

I know very little about sports. I do have some name recognition from headlines and whatnot. He’s the one who wore makeup and dresses to games, right? Other than publicity stunts like that, what’d he do that was “genuinely” crazy?
He never wore makeup or a dress to games. He once wore a wedding dress to get publicity for his autobiography - maybe there were other times, but that’s the only one I remember. During games, he didn’t wear anything crazier than hair dye. He did get into fights sometimes and one time he kicked a cameraman in the crotch, but if those were the craziest things a basketball player ever did…

No, he’s really off-kilter. He’s an alcoholic and he’s struggled with depression and gotten himself into trouble here and there. He just doesn’t regularly dress in drag.

Rodman is clearly too incompetent to be a CIA agent, but also overqualified to serve in Trump’s cabinet. A very strange gray area.
