I don’t know how to label the following… hilarious, ironic, pathetic, or just DUH?? The obvious response to the title of the article is “no fucking joke.” :smack:

I caught the so-called President on the radio about 20 minutes ago-- I guess it was the thing with the Japanese Prime Minister. Trump actually said (in essence), “We’ve lost a lot of jobs. A lot of factories have closed. But those jobs are coming back. To Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina. We’re going to be making some announcements in the next…short period of time. Some of you know what those announcements will be.” He mentioned Intel and Ford and implied credit was due him.

Did anyone else hear these remarks? How can he stand there and say the jobs that went away are coming back? Never mind.

As has been reported in more than one thread, during his Comedy Central roast, the ONLY thing that he said was off limits for the comedians was how much money he had. It was okay to attack his family (Lisa Lampenelli referring to his wife as “insert name here,” Snoop saying about a possible White House run as “it wouldn’t be the first time you forced a black family out of their house.”), but not his money.

Trump clearly saw money as the sole indicator of success. Multiple wives? I can have them because I’m a winning billionaire! Presidential campaign? I can do it because I’m a winning billionaire! Housing discrimination? I can ignore the law because I"M A WINNING BILLIONAIRE!!! He seems to have recently added public adulation as another sign of success, for some reason.
