Yet you put your fingers in your ears and go “lah lah lah” when every parent, without exception IIRC in this thread, declares that there’s no comparison between the lives of their pets and the lives of their children.

And? You do know that isn’t the controversy here don’t you? I your hurry to “prove” that there is something wrong with me, have you forgotten that it is comparing children to pets, not husbands to pets or children?
