Is he saying "Bowels" in 'Slide' by the Goo Goo Dolls?

This is a serious question that has bugged me since middle school, so I feel it’s fit for this section and not Cafe Society. If not, move it…but I think it’s worth asking here first.

In the song ‘Slide’ by the Goo Goo Dolls, the mega-hit of 1998, the chorus goes like this:

And I’ll do anythin’ you ever dreamed to be complete
Little pieces of the nothin’ that fall
Oh, May
Put your arms around me
What you feel is what you are
And what you are is beautiful
Oh, May
Do you wanna get married
Or run away?

After the LAST chorus of the above lyrics, there is this:
I wanna wake up where you are
I won’t say anything at all…

THEN, a PAUSE…

And the singer says what sounds to me like “Bowels!” Then there is a drum fill, and the song begins its last refrain before the end.

I have heard this song a billion times, scrutinizing it each and every time to hear the “bowels!” exclamation. I am utterly convinced that is what he’s saying. If someone can prove me wrong, PLEASE do! Anyone who has this song, listen to it and tell me if you hear it too. I cannot bear the thought of one of my favorite songs of my youth having some kind of hidden scatological reference.

He’s saying “I won’t say…” Well, drawling it more, in a low voice.

According to the lyrics the singer is saying “Yeah slide”:

Dunno how well that corresponds to the actual recording; it’s been a while since I’ve heard it.

I’m inclined to agree with Q.E.D. on this one but just to be safe, downloads song off Napster (the legal one)

Ah, I hear what you’re talking about. No, he’s saying “I’ll do anything at alllllll”
I can see how it sounds like “Bowels” though.
