I am driving I-10 from Houston to Tallahassee in a few days and was wondering if it is still closed around New Orleans? I believe I-12 is the detour but I’m not 100% on that. Does anyone know where I can find out, or have personal knowledge?
With all due respect, that site’s information is from September 8 and is sadly outdated.
The WWLTV site has current information. It looks like I-10 is indeed open.
I jumped the gun. The Louisiana State Police site has the most current listing of road closures. There are some lane closures on I-10, and there’s a detour from I-10 West at the Oak Harbor exit to Highway 11 West and US 90 West. Eastbound looks fine, though.
