Is it common for flights out of Havana to be delayed because of hurricanes?

I’m thinking about flying from Cuba to London in mid-August. But the only flight I can get lands about 40 hours before I have something I really don’t want to miss. How significant is the risk that a flight out of Havana in August would be delayed because of hurricanes, cyclones or general inclement weather?

It’s been a while with no answer, so I’ll offer that we flew in and out of Havana in mid-August last year and had no problems or delays of any kind. We also experienced no bad weather, apart from Havana’s afternoon rains which are actually pretty nice (they settle the dust, cool the air, last about twenty minutes and then it’s sunny again).
