Is it ever going to stop raining?

I live in sunny south Florida. :cool: Sunny being the operative word. So, can someone tell me when it is going to stop raining? It’s been raining practically non stop for a month. I need some sun. I can’t take this much longer. I need to feel the warmth on my face. I need to see the blue in the sky - all this grey, all this dreariness is really starting to bum me out. :frowning:

Somebody please make it stop. I can’t remember the rain ever lasting this long. The weather forecast calls for more rain. They are predicting more rain through the rest of the week. I would be optimistic that it will end soon, but I’ve learned the trick already. They know the rain is never going to end and they only break the bad news to us one week at a time.

It just feels like one half of the country is on fire… the other half is flooding. There’s no place left to run. I’m rambling and I’m getting even more depressed so I’ll stop now. I’ll just sob quietly at my desk until the sun comes back.

Amen! I live in South Carolina, and it’s been raining here for a solid week.
Yeah, we had some sun yesterday, but it lasted about an hour.

My sister drove from Daytona to Charleston on Saturday. She said it did not stop raining once during the whole trip.

We kind of need the rain. But would at least an hour of sunshine each day be too much? Come on!

Recently a deputy sheriff found some strange substance on his patrol car. Realizing the dangers involved in this time of heightened security, he carefully put the substance into an evidence bag and sent it to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for examination. They were puzzled by it too but finally they determined it was a drop of rain.

Just a joke to be sure, but we’ve been making comparisons to the Dustbowl years. It’s been a long time since we saw any rain. Package it up and send us some!
