Ever since last night, I’ve noticed that the boards have been acting much faster. Is this just a coincidence (in light of the recent outcry), or did something happen?
I didn’t notice the usual board downtime from ~2:30-3:30 MST (GMT-7)… whatever’s going on, good job!
Maybe the suggestion of Noone Special in this thread worked? If so, thanks, N.S.!
Whizzing along, my ass.
That was really weird. There were no posts between 10:50PM and 12:04AM.
It’s quiet. A little too quiet…
Or, you know, maybe it’s just Saturday night.
Eastern USA Board Time, that is.
Oh, actually, I see now that there were posts in that interval, but the forum index page wasn’t updated and the threads weren’t bumped. Nevermind.
Why haven’t the threads been bumped?
That’s a question for the philosophers.
As I type this, this thread is listed as having 4 replies.
I think it’s just you. I’ve apparently got a pulled hamster.
Well there’s a mass power cut in Italy right now. Taking all those Italian lurkers out of the loop might be having a beneficial effect.
I almost replied to this last night because the boards were whizzing along uncharacteristically fast but then all of a sudden they bogged down. Like maybe everyone was off eating dinner and came back.
Superbowl/toilet effect.
Yeah, I got bogged down last night as well, about midnight. :smack:
But, I’m whizzing along again. This usually doesn’t happen. Whatever it is, thanks!
