These Boards Are Bogged!!!!!

Is it just me or are these boards bogged down completely? For the last two days, during primetime (1-6 PM PST), these boards have been either sluggish or completely nonfunctional. For the last three hours I have been totally unable to read or post to any threads at all!

I suppose that I should post this at ATMB instead of here, but I am curious as to how many others have been experiencing this problem.

Please check in with your own perceptions about this problem.

PS: I understand that the absence of commercial content at these boards limits the ability for them to upgrade the equipment in a fashion similar to for-profit enterprises. I hope that there is some way around these limitations that does not include subscription or advertising.

Well, I’ve certainly noticed the lag you mention Zenster. I was just assuming that it was nature’s way of telling me to focus on my job.

Maybe it’s time to start a contribution campaign for upgrading the board hardware if that’s indeed the problem. I’d be happy to kick in.

Ed Zotti (heretofore refferred to as De Zotti) doesn’t know how close he was to being held hostage. I was going to hunt him down and keep him in my basement like the Gimp in Pulp Fiction until I was allowed to properly pad my post count.

I didn’t notice a thing while knitting a mile long quilt.

While I was trying to lurk yesterday the boards seemed very slow.
They were so slow that I thought I’d find out who the new president was before the thread I wanted came up.
It’s a little better today.

I have had the same problem last night and this afternoon.

Things seem to be better now.
