Yes, he’s a hate-filled racist. And shooting up a church to send a message sounds like a (racist) political statement.
I say they probably clear everything by Trump before they send it to his desk. Obvious places of disagreement are gay issues, issues related to our foreign policy (particularly militarily), issues related to foreign trade, issues related to platinum plating the white house and putting a really big “T” on top, issues related to privitization of social security and medicare. Just to name a few. Trump is batshit crazy but before he went crazy, he was pretty liberal.
No, he wasn’t. When he thought it was to his advantage he said what he thought Liberals wanted to hear-now that the power has shifted he tells the Conservatives what they want to hear…but what he does is for the benefit of Mr. Trump.
Yeah, he doesn’t have principles. He says, does, thinks whatever seems expedient at the moment. He’s not remotely consistent except insofar as something makes him momentarily popular or makes him money.
If any significant number of former Obama voters had voted for trump, he would have gotten way more votes than he actually did.
Demonstrating that you don’t know what “sour grapes” means does not make you look smarter.
Who cares about understanding a stupid old fable anyway? Aesop is overrated.
You do realize that there was a time when Trump did not have political ambitions, right? I can almost pinpoint the date when Trump became a Republican, it was the day when Michael Bloomberg became mayor of NYC running as a Republican, you could almost hear the words in his head: “You can DO that?”
I don’t argue that he is unscrupulous but in what world has the power shifted to the conservatives over the last 20 years or so that it would justify this sort of 180 degree reversal?
But when were his actions(not just the crap that spews from his mouth) liberal?
OK, there’s a test right now, today, of what Trump will do to help the white working class.
A continuing resolution (CR) needs to be passed today to keep the government running past midnight. (So really by Monday morning when we lazy bureaucrats would show up for work. :)) There’s been a bill kicking around for years to protect pensions and health benefits for coal mine workers for the long term, but the GOP doesn’t want to include that in the CR, just a short-term extension of such benefits.
The other thing that is up for grabs is a Buy American provision in the Water Resources Development Act that would require that the steel and iron used in infrastructure projects funded by the Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund be American-made. It’s in the bill, but Paul Ryan’s trying to have it pulled.
Bets on what will happen? The Dems are for the inclusion of the Miners Protection Act (and are even making noises about a shutdown if it’s excluded) and are for the water bill including the Buy American provision.
Given that, I think you can guess who’s against these things: the party that the white working class keeps voting for, because the Dems just won’t listen to them.

That sounds insane. But I’m preparing myself. In January we’re gonna have President Trump! Insane is going to require a new scale of measurement.

Aesop was a hack. Jean de La Fontaine is the man.
Hey, you’d be a sore winner too if “winning” meant having to be saddled with Trump.
You realize that he’s never held a political office before, right? He has been about as liberal in his actions as Michael Blooomberg was before he became mayor. He has donated significantly more to Democratic candidates than Republican ones (sure he’s from NYC but he is also a “friend of Bill”)
And he still hasn’t.
He’s not president yet. Or is Trump responsible for everything that all Republicans do? You know, the ones that said Never Trump?
:smack::smack::smack::smack::smack:
Usually by the time one makes it to be president, they have quite a bit of influence in their party. The president is pretty much the party leader, so yeah, he is responsible for what the republicans do. The fact that he is not actually capable of doing his job does not make him blameless.
Yeah, like Romney.
Owww, quit that before you give yourself an aneurysm.
Please stop normalizing don the con by saying that he used to be a liberal. He has been scamming and feeding at his own trough and schmoozing with everyone between him and a dollar for his whole life.
He was seen in a room with a democrat before? You don’t say?
This person drad dog is wise. Listen well. Heed his words.
