Before anybody says I will not accept those cites, I made a claim/ took a position just a bit earlier in this very thread. Several posters provided cites and argumenst countering that claim/position. I deciced the way to get out of the hole was not to keep digging.
Are you requesting a spin-off thread in a different forum where the requested cites will never be posted?
I feel like I could have happily lived my life without knowing any of this stuff. Shouldn’t this be the aim, that everyone learns these words as a footnote in a history book?

I find this claim to be somewhat incredible.
Fascinating, all that sturm and drang over the “mutilation” of children’s genitals and not a single mention of circumcision.
It’s almost as if this has nothing to do with the what and is entirely about the why.

Ya know, this is the time where you should go ‘Yes, circumcision is mutilation but here’s why it’s OK and trans surgery isn’t’. But I’m not holding out any hope for that.
