Is it too late to sign up for NaNoWriMo?

:frowning:

I was reading the threads about this. A professor last year mentioned it, and it sounded interesting. I had this feeling that I missed it, because so many people were talking (and seemingly starting) their novels.

The fact is, I have been meaning to write a novel for a while now, and this seems like a great way to kind of kick myself in the seat of my pants and get going on it. I signed up, and plan on getting started tomorrow. I figure I’ll just do a bit each day, probably the hour before I go to bed or something. Back in high school, I wrote a (bad) novel 45,000 words long in a month, and that was just for the hell of it, there was no ‘contest’ behind it, so I’m looking forward to this. Hell, maybe something mundane to put on a resume

I can’t imagine it’s too late. It doesn’t even start until Nov 1st.

You have 15 minutes - run now!

He’s from San Jose, he’s got three hours and fifteen minutes.

No, it’s not too late. The idea is to have fun and to write a novel, not to live by rigid rules.

People have signed up halfway into the month and still won. Go for it!

(There’s just three minutes left before it starts… yay!)

Woohoo I signed up!

The great thing is I was thinking of a novel idea a couple of days ago, before I even considered entering the NaNoWriMo. So I’m looking forward to getting it off the ground tomorrow morning!
