Except that’s already happened. NAMBLA doesn’t exist anymore, and it never really existed in the first place except one guy and a couple of people who subscribed to his newsletter.

They participate in anti-rape consciousness-raising willingly, because they don’t want the actions of some of their members to dirty their name.

Any group must spend some effort on internal cleansing. It’s an unfortunate consequence of the fact that there are rotten stinkers within any large group of people. This applies to a fraternity of 40 members, or a religion with 40 million.

And how in the name of hell is it “illogical” to suggest that Muslims are more likely to talk to other Muslims about their plans? Human society is like that for all associative groups. (e.g., not for “left-handed people,” because they don’t tend to associate preferentially with each other. But religious groups are associative groups.)

Because the premise is illogical. It’s ignoring a few major facts, such as modern terrorists, even Muslims, not all being from places that are populated just by Muslims. It also ignores the fact that there’s a wide difference among Muslims as to culture and even religious practice.
