Okay so call me a pig but I have this favorite t-shirt that I like to wear around the house (i’m a bachelor) that I really kinda enjoy not washing very often. It smells like…me and for some reason it is comforting to wear it. Is this totally weird or actually quite common? I do NOT wear it if I have company!

Despite your user name I’m going to assume you don’t smell like fresh baked cookies, so yes, IMO it’s pretty gross.
It’s not weird to me. But so what if I thought it was. It’s your house.
That’s one of the great joys of living alone. You can do whatever you want in your own home, without a lot of suggestions from someone else.
I’m not sure what the problem is.
I feel the same way about my teddy bear. I sleep with it, like a pillow, and after it’s washed it doesn’t “smell right.”

Nah. Not too weird. I like wearing hubby’s shirts that have been around a while (not so long they can walk on their own but…) cos they smell like him
I also have a t-shirt that AFAICR has never been washed. I was at a John Denver concert, bought a t-shirt, wore it a few times, then he died a couple months later… Shirt has not been washed (nor have I worn it since either I must add).
