I have PBS passport ($5 a month) that gives me access to lots of PBS movies, and its on the PBS app for me.
I don’t have a vcr anymore.

Here in Toronto, my public library membership gives me access (limited to 8 titles per month) to the hoopla streaming service, which carries the series. Maybe you can get something similar.
