RTE did something like that. The first half of the season was shown as normal i.e. one show per week but the 2nd half of the season was shown as two shows back to back each week.
I liked the accelerated showings. One of the only advantages of getting the show later than the US IMO.
I remember seeing that for the first time and thinking most of the way through that it was a typical pretentious perfume advert or something. Was that promo unique to the UK then?
It’s interesting to look back at it now after watching all of the first season and seeing Locke and Walt as conductors…
We’re getting it in Sweden as well, although I never watch it myself.
I have a Hungarian friend, she was born here but has quite a few friends and family over there. The other night we were talking about Lost and she was telling me about how she was bugging a friend over there with spoilers.
Yeah, I thought that was weird too, especially since the same network has another channel which seemingly airs nothing but american tv shows.
