After reading an article in the Los Angeles (California, USA) Times today, I got worried and decided to check my mental health.
I did this by taking, from the Center for On-Line Addiction®, the Internet Addiction Test.

My score said average use, with “control” over my usage. That’s only because my daily work doesn’t involve a computer. If I could post at work, I’d be here more often.

I got a 75, but would have been much higher if I had been trying to hide it. Every time they ask ‘do you try to hide it’, ‘are you embarrassed about it’, etc, I have to say NO - cause I’m an unabashed geek who LIVES online. laugh
So are my friends though, so I’m in good company (I’m picky, but I have met the vast majority of my friends online - I even met Mr. Elthia on the usenet, back when it wasn’t Spam Central).

Mr. Rilch and I have company this weekend. Last night they got some eggs, bacon and tater tots, and this morning I offered to make “some this-is-your-brain-on-drugs” for them.
BTW, I’m not whipped; I just like to cook for people, because it’s one thing I know I can do and do well, thus getting positive feedback.
