Is my thread messed up?

I have a thread in the GD forum that seems to be messed up. I posted a thank you to the person who replied but I’m not sure if it shows up. If I click on the link to the thread and the reply is there, but just by looking at the frontend of the GD forum it shows only 2 replies (even after refreshing the page)-and my most recent post should make the 3rd reply. I recieved a “404 site not found message” when I posted it (the last reply), so I’m wondering if only I can see it?

The problem you report is related to this question in the FAQ:

Q: Why do I see a thread with no posts in it, or a poster with post count 0?

A: The Chicago Reader IS department says that due to the demands placed upon the server, the full set of database updates needed to successfully complete a thread/post creation gets interrupted, and so you may end up with inconsistent data in the database. Modifying the values of some database parameters might fix the problem but it also might make the board slower, so those parameters will not be changed (at least for now.)
