I’m selecting those two because they were both in Great Debates. Teens who are up in the middle of the night in a silly mood are, generally speaking, not welcome in Great Debates. If you keep it up, expect serious Pit flames within the week. So exercise those powers of discrimination a bit more and you’ll be on a better track.

owl: You forgot to mention that he says he’s good at Science but sees no need for Math. That alone is the death knell for him making it in Science.
You know, before they did whatever they did a few weeks ago to make the board go faster, nobody would ever manage to make 80 posts in a day. Heck, even my posting has gone up alot, I was pretty much 3-4 posts per day for months, then have found myself posting 10+ times per day over the last couple weeks. Perhaps it’s just a symptom of better board speed. I’ll go ahead and give SD the benefit of the doubt for now, since he does seem to be contributing. All I had seen before was some post-count padding one-line replies, so I won’t take him on that basis alone anymore.
I’m planning on being a english professor, not a biologist or something.
I like science and I’m good at it.
Heck, I was never that much of a posting fiend… at least not compared to our young friend here. I think at the very most, my average was maybe 15 or so posts a day. There was no way I could maintain 73 posts a day! :eek:
