In the description of it I read here it sounds like one of the most honest portrayals of rock stardom to ever come down the pike. Whoever wrote this review was watching a bootleg copy; are there any legitimate releases of this film, ever? Might there ever be?
Heck no…shows Keith nodding out, nekkid girls and various drug experiences. I don’t think “Sir Mick Jagger” is going to let the cat out of the bag. At least officially.
I’ve got it on tape. It’s OK but like every good unreleased cult film. It’s overhyped.
Good concert sequences though. 72’ was the best tour ever too!
I remember reading somewhere that the CSB documentary was screened in a museum here in NYC, so technically, it was released (just not commercially released)
I can’t vouch for the authenticity of the following…but if it’s a must have for you…
From the Usenet:
Rolling Stones - Cocksucker Blues VHS(PAL)
Robert Frank’s notorious - and unreleased - documentary of the Rolling
Stones 1972 North American tour.
Running Time 90min.
Note: Only available in the UK.

“Any price,” huh? How much does it cost to hire Robert Frank to come to your house?
