Is the English word 'oceanaide' a proper word?

I’ve seen the English version of the French ‘océanide’ (nymph) as oceanaide. Is this a proper word. I couldn’t find any dictionary or glossary reference for it.

Sure, though not spelled that way.

But it’s not the English version of the French word. It’s the anglicized form of a Greek word.

Thanks Johnny_Bravo. I’ve only ever come across it once.

I would expect “oceanaide” to be some bizarre form of lemonade or something similar, but made with seawater.

Or a lifeguard.

We have a street in my town called Oceanaire. As far as I can tell, it’s just a made up single word for “ocean air”.

Without context, I might expect a simple next-key typographic error.
