Pity. I kinda liked it…save for the fact that I hang out in Cafe Society usually and people tend to forget about its spoilerific tendencies.

When this happened to me, I got the mouseovers back when I cleared my IE temporary files.
This has happened with me as well. Sometimes it just takes a bit to load.
I’ve also noticed it won’t come up when you mouseover a moved thread. I doubt this is the problem, but I felt proud for noticing this.
And it also happens with threads over a certain age. Not sure exactly what the age is, but from what I’ve seen, I’m guessing about two years or older…
IIRC, the threads that were initiated under the older BB system (uBulletin? whichever) don’t have mouseovers. I seem to think the other software didn’t support it. Or maybe that was just an older version of vB. Or something.
I’ve had this problem more than once. Usually a signal that I need to run AdAware and Spybot. That always seems to fix it for me.

We didn’t start getting the mouseover information until a fairly recent version of vB, so older posts will not contain this data. Sorry about that.
