potatoes
Some form of potatoes is my best guess. I know for sure that there are segments of the population (to whom my grandmother belongs) who “don’t like rice.” I don’t understand how a person can not like rice–but she doesn’t.
Moved from IMHO to CS.
Water.
Of course, chocolate is not a form of sugar. Out of curiosity, do you also dislike very dark or bitter(sweet) chocolate?
I don’t like rice.
Bread, in any of its varied forms. Unless, like my niece, you have celiac disease…but she still loves bread. It just makes her violently ill.
I hate rice. Horrible stuff.
Everyone loves jello.Cosby says so
Ice cream. Cite.
My 4-year-old nephew doesn’t like chocolate. Never has. Not candy, not chocolate chip cookies, not as ice cream. Nothing. And he’s very firm about his dislike.
I hate water. No, really. Obviously, I consume a lot of it in the form of other drinks and food, but I just detest the taste of straight water. Yuck.
Indeed it isn’t. That wasn’t clear. I dislike all forms of chocolate, dark, milk, bittersweet, etc. I don’t like white chocolate either though I realize it is much milder than dark chocolate.

Not me, and boy do I miss it. I have to watch out for anything sugar or sugarish-related – not just sugar, but anything usually put into “sugar-free” stuff…anything with an “ose” at the end such as sucrose and dextrose, and even things like maltrodextrin and sucralose. Forget aspertame, that really screws me up. The only sweetener I can eat that doesn’t send my blood glucose soaring is Stevia, so it’s a good thing I love it.
In fact, I’ve recently had to give up most carbohydrates altogether. I’m forced now to be on a low-carb diet or else I get into big trouble with both my blood glucose and blood pressure. They’re completely normalized unless I eat carbohydrates. Bye bye bread and chocolate and basmati rice and potatos.
Jaffa Cakes.
Seriously.
In a much respected university study a large group of people were asked whether they liked Jaffa Cakes. Based on their responses the group were divided into three groups:
-
Those who said yes and therefore liked Jaffa Cakes.
-
Those who had never tried a Jaffa Cake and would therefore obviously like Jaffa Cakes if given one.
-
Those who sneakily said no in the hope that the researcher would give them Jaffa Cakes in order to try to change their mind and who therefore liked Jaffa Cakes.
Conclusive proof I think you’ll agree.
(Oh and I can’t find an online link but the study was done by Z. Zelerton (2000))
What are Jaffa Cakes?
Wow, I don’t go around memorising the author of every academic paper I read, but that name definitely rings a bell. This Z. Zelerton character must therefore be a very famous and authoritative researcher.
Pan-fried semen.
