I’m having major computer problems, but I’ll try to stay on top of this. And I’ll try to fix my profile so I can receive e-mails. If the San Diego/south group don’t mind a little extra driving, then Huntington Beach is a good option. However, I don’t know anything about that area, so someone would have to help me with finding a restaurant. I seem to remember mention of a Mexican place with a nice outdoor patio??? If anyone knows the name and location, we can check and see if they’ll let us reserve for a large group. Some places won’t do that on a Saturday night.
The mexican place is wonderful and we will reserve it if that’s the best place for us to go.
Scout since you have the race the next day, is this stuff I’ve heard about carbo loading the night before correct? Is that something you do? If so, would a mexican dinner have enough carbs or do we need an Italian, or all you can eat salad bar at Sizzlers where you can just grab the whole pasta salad bowl out of the bar and take it to the table for your dinner?

The restaurant is on Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach. Very easy to find, off the 405.

Honestly, I’d much rather tip good tech support than good (or in most cases, adequate) food service. I mean, technically I could schlep my own food, but fix my computer?

Okay, I’m in for a couple of hours, anyway. There is a possibility that I will have a companion, but at this point it’s a little too early to know whether I’m going to be making the trip up there alone or not.
