Since I live in Huntington Beach, I can help you out with this. I used to work in the motel industry too, and it’s been my experience that what is decent to one person isn’t for another and what is reasonable coast for one isn’t for another so you will have to give me some sort of range to go by.
Are you thinking Hilton overlooking the ocean or are you thinking Motel 6 or Super 8? I used to work for Best Western and we have 2 of them in Huntington Beach… one over looks the ocean.
Give me a min. - max price range and if it would be 1 king bed or 2 queen and I’ll call around and see what I can find for you. Also would it be for just that Sat. night or Fri & Sat.?

I haven’t been feeling very well as of late, and will be going to the doc’s on Tuesday. If things are okay closer to the end of the week, for certain we will be there. And, of course, I’d love to see the both of you two gorgeous hunks of man-meat there.

Another late entry. I might be able to make it at around 7 or 8pm, so don’t put me down for a spot at the table or anything - I’ll probably just have a drink or 5 if I can get out of work early. Here’s hoping I get to go to my first DopeFest!
I’m going to have to downgrade my status to a “maybe.” I took a sick day last week, so I’ll be working overtime to try to make up for it. I don’t know about Saturday.

Take the 405 to Beach Blvd exit. Get off and head toward the ocean. Cross Warner Ave. and start looking for Mario’s Fiesta Maya Restaurant on the right.
We are confirmed for October 9, 2004 at 6:00PM. Ric reserved the back patio for 35 people - more can be added if necessary.
i would love to attend, even though i am relatively new.
I will be arriving around 6:30 or 7:00pm, since my 8 year old has a recently scheduled baseball game from 3-5pm and then I have to drive about 95 miles to Huntington Beach. But I will still make it, barring injury, illness or if the Cajon Pass is closed due to idiotic drivers.
Does the patio have TV’s in the patio area? I noticed that the Angels and Dodgers are scheduled to play that day (afternoon or night, depending on start times). If not, no big deal.
Bring our own nametags, or play “What’s my Handle?”?
