It’s the “oooohhhhh!” reaction when a rapper delivers a particularly good diss in a rap battle, or the reaction of teammates and spectators when a basketball player posterizes another.
Being “impressed” and “astonished” are certainly components, but it feels like both are missing something — namely, the part that’s reacting to the “savageness”, if that makes sense. I feel like I’m missing an obvious word, but I can’t think of it.
Anyone have suggestions?
