To be clear, I meant this with the Clock app, not the calendar app.
Android used to have a feature where you just used the google voice option to say ‘set an alarm for XYZ’ where you’d say something like 530pm or 1 hour from now, etc.
They got rid of this feature a few months ago and it sucks. I miss that feature. I had to download an alarm app and use that instead.
Huh? I still do that all the time. When i say that, it doesn’t use my alarm clock app, it uses some system thing.
ETA: I tried it right now, between posting the initial bit and this edit. I said, “okay Google, set an alarm for 2 minutes”. It advertised Gemini, but it also set the alarm. And the alarm just went off.
It doesnt work for me, it just gives me a Google seatch result
Yes, you can set a “task” to recur daily and repeat until a particular date or number of occurrences. I think you need to label each on differently, though not sure. So “Pill 1”, “Pill 2”, as an example.
Works on my phone too. I have a Pixel which is the vanilla Android thing though. No using other apps. It is all the built in Android stuff and it just…works. One reason I like this phone.
