Is there a way to auto-scroll in Google Chrome?

See, I’m used to Internet Explorer, where I can just click the scroll wheel and then set the page to scroll gently by so that I can read the boards or whatever and still have my hands free to knit. But now my boss has decreed that we shall use Google Chrome, and while I know there must be a way to make it auto-scroll I haven’t figured it out yet. Help?

Hell I didn’t know you could auto scroll in IE - So thanks.
Looks like you need an update for Chrome http://www.chromeplugins.org/chrome/dev-update-201561-new-webkit-form-auto-complete-autoscroll-full-page-zoom/

Well, darn. Looks like I’ll have to get on my boss’s butt and make him update; we’re not authorized to download anything on the work computers. We can’t even look at PDF files online. Thanks!

I’m on the Developer channel, so I get the latest updates to Chrome, even if they’re unstable. At any rate, this is a feature they just added recently and one I’ve grown quite fond it–which means it should be rolled out in a standard Chrome update for everyone over the next month or two, once they ensure it’s stable. If you can’t wait til then, switch over to the Beta or Dev channels–even though they want it may not be stable, I haven’t had any major issues.
