I presume they are in the Temporary Internet Files folder or someplace.
That’s what Save History for _ Days option is for.
(I’m running IE8 on Windows XP home latest updates.)
In the old days of Windows you could search for words in that folder and it would locate all the pages. They might not display correctly, but you could read the text and find the pictures.
Sometimes I just recalled a phrase or two on pages I want to return to, not the search path that found them, so I was relieved to find them again.
But now there appear to be folders that I can’t open. I have Administrator permission, it’s my home computer, and I have the setting to view hidden and system files.
Where are they? Can I get to them?
