Sometime replied to one of my posts. I tried to reply to them. Then I had some glitch and lost that page, and now I can’t find it. Is there an easy way to search for either my recent posts or recent replies to me?
At the top right of the page, click on your avatar, which should default to showing you your badges. Click on your name at the top of that menu. Choose “Activity” from the list that appears.
Thanks, that did it. (Although it too more patience than I expected. I tapped my name, and it changed color, and nothing else happened. So I clicked other stuff… Eventually I tried again. Tapping my name, it changes color, and I waited several seconds… And then it showed exactly what I was looking for.
Am i the unique user who is finding this site glacially slow?
I don’t know - it’s pretty fast for me. What platform are you on?
At the moment, I’m using the discourse app on my Android phone.
Huh - if you can look at it on a computer, give that a try and see if it’s just as slow for you. I’m not saying you have to change how you access the Dope, just trying to locate the source of the problem. Good luck!
I’m using the Chrome browser and it’s pretty fast. Is the Discourse app easy to navigate? Maybe I’ll download it instead.
The discourse app looks almost the same as just using Firefox on my phone. In particular, the navigation is very similar. But I was getting weird crashes in Firefox, so I thought I’d try the app.
Ok, thanks
It is really slow on my phone. I can’t say about my desktop because the DNS change still hasn’t reached it–it still gets the old site.
I’m using the Brave browser on my Android because it has a built-in ad blocker. Seems very fast.
