Is there a way to use strikethrough in my post?

It seems as though I have seen it used, but I can’t figure out how to get it done.

Thanks,

Wait, yes.

ETA, hit the quote button on my post and you’ll see the tags.

No, we shut it off just for you.

Just use the [noparse][del][/del][/noparse] tags

Cool! Thanks, Joey P, [del]BigT[/del], and Quartz!

Nice!

Huh?

I’m not seeing any [del] [del] tags? Where would those be kept, exactly?

Or did you mean to simply reproduce them as you’ve presented them?

elbows - you didn’t close the second tag. They’re not “stored” anywhere - you just have to type them in.

[noparse][del]If you add the tags around the text manually, exactly like it appears here, you’ll get what displays below.[/del][/noparse]

[del][COLOR=“Black”]You can even do different colors for text and strikethrough[/del][/COLOR]

though it doesn’t work in all browsers, apparently

I, just, sorry about that.

Isn’t that a case of statutory grape?

Although that does run into the issue of properly contrasting colors.
