I don’t even know where to start with this monstrosity. Probably an 8 team league. Maybe 10.

My free fantasy football site ranks are CBS > ESPN >> Yahoo.

If your rules allow it, don’t even draft a kicker.

Wait until you can pick up free agents. What tends to happen every year is one of your late round sleeper picks will be made clear to be a non impact before the real season even starts. Maybe he gets traded to another team where he won’t stand a chance of being used, or he may fall out of favor with the coach, or you realise it was just a stupid pick. But you often won’t know until after your draft. Drop him, pick up and drop a K based on each week’s match ups. This, of course, means you’ll have to find out what the matchups are each week.

Or, you may draft someone that another team desperately wants, and you can trade for someone valuable to your team. Then, drop your weakest draftee for a K.

Of course, as with all things on the Dope, YMMV! Works for me, but I tend to really watch what’s going on. 4 championships in 10 yrs and several 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Came in dead last one year, too, so it doesn’t always work out even for the most involved/savvy/informed FF geek.

If your league rules are that all positions have to be filled on draft day, ignore this advice.
