Does anyone know of any polls or, lacking that, something anecdotal?
Nothing concrete, but they gotta love the US - they get $5.5 billion a year in aid and loan guarantees from the US and usually the US is the only one voting with Israel (or abstaining, as is often the case on really touchy issues) on Middle East UN issues. The two countries are quite tight intelligence-wise, and are likely each other’s biggest purchasers of military hardware (something both countries are quite good at making).
It’s really hard to search for hard facts on Israel on the internet as virtaully every website has an agenda one way or the other.
