The share button works really well.
It sometimes copies the Google Amp link instead of the actual web site link. That’s fine if your sending a link to a friend.
I used it on message boards and got criticism. Some members don’t like Google Amp Links. It’s another opportunity for Google to track people.
I don’t like Google Amp links because they frequently crash browsers (mobile and desktop) and on my phone it screws up my ability to navigate; it often interprets an attempt to move a zoomed-in page horizontally as an attempt to view another article, and I sometimes can’t swipe left to go to my previous page because that takes me to another article.
So many times I find a Reddit discussion on Google and want to respond then realize I can’t because Amp broke it, so I have to view the “real” page (which takes extra steps).
I’ve also noticed that a page with ads seems to have more ads when viewing through Amp. It seems objectively bad to me.
