Is there anything in the world better than a steaming hot baked potato?

Because if there is, I haven’t found it.

Well, for me personally, I would say a nice hot shower after two months without hot water. But that’s just me.

Yes. The beef tenderloin with the meal, which I get about once a year.

Yes there is, a poke in the eye with a sharp stick for starters (where is that sick smiley?)

Thread over.

I don’t really get the appeal of cheesecake. I don’t hate it – I’ll eat some if it’s offered to me, but it always struck me as kinda…meh. I mean, it’s just cooked cream cheese with a load of sugar and some fruit on top.

And a baked potato is just a bunch of flavorless starch with some actual flavorings dumped on top of it.

Cheesecake > baked potato.

EDIT: Shit man, just look at the picture of that slice of cheesecake. It even looks more appealing than a baked potato! What with the contrast in colors and oozing strawberry on top… mmmmm.

It’s not flavorless if you make it right. And the potatoes are fresh.

Fine. If I’m ever in Brooklyn, you’re treating me to what better be the best damn baked potato I’m ever going to have. Sound good?

Bacon.

You got it, dude.

I’ll concede at the right time, anything can be the perfect thing.
But if your question was in earnest, then my answer is no. Baked potatoes are not better than:
Good chocolate
Lamb chops in cheese crust
Napping in sun beams, or even being in a warm car after being in my cold cubicle all day
Serrano ham
Foot rubs
The patter of rain in the morning

hard to answer, so many spuds and so little time.

some are good plain with maybe only pepper like a Yukon Gold.

then there are double baked potatoes with cheese.

then there are day or two old baked potatoes, kept in a fridge and eaten cold or warm.

Err, how about a steaming hot baked potato with copious amounts of butter and mature cheddar on top? Just for the love of God, don’t microwave it.

I would argue that there are various forms and varieties of potato that are the best thing ever. (Mashed, baked, fried, oven “fried”, boiled, twice baked, mmmmmmmmmm.)

I think they take turns.

Thanks for deciding what I’m going to have for dinner.

Baked potato, loaded with butter and toppings. Yum.

If it’s a baked sweet potato, there might not be anything better. Except perhaps sweet potato pie.

I repeat: BACON.

You know what’s great? Bacon on a baked potato.

You all haven’t had MY cheesecake. Trump.
