I am running Win 95 on another comp, and no longer have the original Win 95 disks. Can I download software on the net somewhere, put it on a disk, and then load it up on the other comp? Or is dial up networking a Microsoft only feature?
Look for Trumpet Winsock. They did make a 32-bit version.
DUN 1.3 here.
I would imagine you can get a copy of 95 on CD for about $ 10.00 - 20.00 on Ebay. Try to get “B” version.
Less expensive and faster would be to simply ask friends if they have any old WIN95 CD’s laying around. I’ve helped a lot of folks with PC configs in their homes and at least half of them had a WIN 95 CD gathering dust somewhere in their collection of CDs.
as vandal said, its easier to get it from microsoft file archives.
But the AOL cd that everyone has a stack of, contains its own DUN.
Thank you, all.
