Is there really a build up of poo in the body of the average person?

I have heard that the average person carried around 20 extra pounds of poo in their intestines/bowels…is this in any way true?

If it is true, how do we flush the system?

No, it is not true.
Flushing is not required.

The assertion is full of crap, not us. I think Cecil addressed this once at length. IIRC there was a very popular health/nutrition book several years ago called “Fit for Life” that made this assertion as gospel. and I think think it’s probably the main source for most of this UL nonsense.

Phew…

Thanks guys…I feel better. There’s nothing worse than the thought of buckets and buckets of sh!t sloshing around down there…

It’s making sense. I heard this assertation from an evangelical christian. Never a good source of anything good. Except for the Gospel. That’s good. But not poo in the belly. That’s bad.

Yes, it’s absolutely true. You’re full of it.

Can you feel the irony? I mean, not counting the bad pun…

The best way is to stop asking stupid questions and to eat more prunes, oatmeal, beans, and other high-fiber food.

I’ll make sure that when it comes out, it’s on your head, smart guy.

Have you ever tried eating a pound of grapes for lunch? I’m not entirely sure the “buildup” theory is completely false now…

To tell the truth;

No. I have never tried eating a pound of grapes for lunch.

On occasion, I have probably drunk the equivalent of a pound of grapes for dinner… but the fiber content was probably close to nil.

By the way…

What’s your point?

Yes, well, it seems you’d already answered your own question.

Unless you’d had a rather large injection of topical anaesthetic in the lower regions of your body, it seems you’d be aware of “buckets and buckets of sh!t [sic] sloshing around down there”…

Don’t be so disingenuous.

And lunch, apparently.

Ah… ha ha ha hahahaha!

It’s 6:05 AM here.

I didn’t have lunch yesterday.

Ah. Not at all a morning person are you? Go back to bed. It’s Saturday, you big goof.

Eat a pound of grapes for lunch and I sweartagod you’ll be ten pounds lighter by the time you go to bed.

No, it’s Sunday morning, you little … (
knows this isn’t the Pit).

Cite?

Give it a try. You’ll be a cite, alright.

A cite for sore arse?
I kill me.

And yet I thought that Elvi’s autopsy revealed he had… oh, ugh, I don’t want to go into it

I heard this assertation from a jew. never a good source of anything good.

nice sentence, aye?

Yeah but his sentance was true.
