Is this a hijack?

There’s a question in “General Questions” about whether the guy who started Hardees is a homophobe. If I want to know if another famous person is a homophobe, would it be a hijack to ask in that thread? Seems easier than starting a nearly identical question elsewhere.

In threads asking similar questions I think the general answer was it’s okay to ask related questions, or even to hijack, if the original questions has been answered.

Of course you could just start a new thread and post a link to it in the first one.

To totally Hijack this thread, I’ll just note that Carl Karcher didn’t start Hardee’s. He started Carl’s Jr., which became CKE, Inc., which bought Hardee’s.

Oh, wait, this thread isn’t about hijacking? :stuck_out_tongue:

While there would be nothing particularly wrong with asking such a question in the thread, there also wouldn’t be anything wrong with opening a second thread about it. The latter course would be more likely to get a response, I think, since not everyone who might know something about the second person would necessarily open the first thread. Whether or not you link to the first thread is up to you.

Just so long as we don’t get a dozen such threads asking about different people all at the same time. . .
