Is this a real restaurant in Homegrown (1998)?

This is my second question regarding a filming location for Homegrown, this location is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. They have this establishing shot and then the interior/back area which seems to be open air. Is this place real and where is it located in NoCal? The establishing shot and the interior could be different places like what happens in many movies/shows etc. or the shot may not even be a restaurant at all.

Since this is about a filming location, let’s move it to CS.

Moving thread from General Questions to Cafe Society.

I checked the filming locations for the movie on IMDB and it just lists the cities where it was filmed. There was no restaurant listed. No help there, unfortunately.

One of the locations they filed in was Mendocino, CA That picture does look like the Mendocino coast, and the style of architecture of the building would certainly fit in there. That said, I can’t identify the building itself, and a quick look at Google maps for the area doesn’t cause anything to jump out. There are a few buildings that look like they *might *fit the image, but they are all private homes and there’s no street view available that shows them, as folks up there tend to build their cliffside homes out of direct view from the highway.

OTOH, there was no two-story farm house on Point Arena for the remake of Forever Young. Built from scratch for the movie.
