Arizona & Gonzaga’s epic battle to reach the Sweet 16
Little Butler turns giant killer
Marquette’s perfect overtime
Drew Nicholas’ running three to give Maryland the win over UNC-Wilmington
Wisconsin coming back from 13 down with four minutes to play to win on a last-seconc three
Indiana rallying from 11 down at halftime to beat 'Bama
Purdue blowing LSU off the court
E. Tennessee nearly beating a No. 2 seed
This is one of the best first weekends of the NCAA tournament ever. And it ain’t even over.
Yep, I’m loving it. I didn’t have high hopes for my Terps but after slipping past UNC- Wilmington, we manhandled Xavier and their “player of the year” West. Yeah, right. You can’t play defense, buddy.
So a repeat isn’t likely, but at least we beat the odds.
I have to admit I really get pissed when Dan Rather keeps cutting in… especially during the first round when they broke in every ten minutes, and then switched to ESPN without saying anything… I mean, there’s twenty news channels to watch if I want to know about Iraq, only CBS controls the damn games, so why do they think I’m watching CBS?
Is no one going to give props to Syracuse for coming back from 17 down to win? Geez, I thought that game was over like 10 minutes in.
Then again, they have won games in which they have trailed in the second half 12 or 13 times this year, so maybe no one is surprised anymore?
And war Michigan State–finally one of my upsets came through! (I wouldn’t count picking Utah and Gonzaga in the first round as an upset, the 8-9 and even the 7-10 games are pretty much toss-ups).
Boy is that ever true - I can barely watch the highlights on ESPN. Did you see the guy who tried to get a triple double by shooting at the wrong basket?
