Sounds like you experienced ass-holery more than discrimination, especially since the bus driver was the same “color”, but if you always feel victimized then you will always find an oppressor. Is it possible that you have prepared yourself for an America full of evil racists and now you think you see it when it isn’t truly there? I can see how that can happen.
On another note; how did you know you were the same religion as the bus driver? Was he wearing some sort of tell tell talisman or are you being stereotypical?
